What information is being collected?

Wanderdog receives, collects and stores any information you enter on our website, through online application forms, or information provided to us in any other way such as our service contracts, release forms and intake forms. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer and connection information. We may also use software tools (such as Google analytics) to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

How is it collected?

When you fill in a form on our website or during a consultation on paper, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only.

Why is it collected?

We collect non-personal and personal information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate our services;
To provide our clients with ongoing customer assistance;
To be able to contact our visitors and clients with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

Who will it be shared with?

Our company is hosted on the Kartra.com platform. Kartra.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Kartra.com’s data storage, databases and the general Kartra.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We also store your information on our accounting system Wave.com, where your name, address, telephone number, email address and history of invoices and payments will be kept. We also use Kartra forms to be able to collect data from you in the case of dog training and puppy class applications.

We will not share your information with any other third parties unless express consent has been provided. We may request to forward your information if we need to refer you on to another dog professional for either behavioural work, more local training or walks.

What will we do with your information?

This information is needed in order to provide you with our requested services - dog training and walking. We store this information both in paper filing and also electronic form. In the case of service contracts and release forms for our walking services, we will scan and send you copies of these, so that you also have copies of your provided information.

Data collected will only be used for marketing purposes if you have expressly consented for Wanderdog to do so.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires or to send updates about Wanderdog. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

What are your rights?

In the case of our newsletters and correspondence directly with you, we will send these to you if you have shown interest in using Wanderdog, or have used our services. You will always be given the option to opt out with immediate effect from this contact.
